Tips For Taking Photos of Your Pet

 • Get down on your pet's eye level, centered, or the position you want for the portrait.

 • Shoot outdoors, preferably in shade or on a cloudy day( provides even lighting).  If on a sunny day make sure the sun is behind you.

 • Be patient and plan to shoot a whole roll of film or two dozen digital camera shots.  Then pick the best one or more images.

 • Choose the photos that provide the truest coloring of the eyes and coat.
